This was only for a microwave, I cannot imagine how much worse it would be for a bigger appliance. We're at almost a month since the initial ticket and things are still not resolved. Every time I call customer service they say someone will call me back, but they never do. Also 226.17 is not a 35% reduction so it doesn't even make sense. Two issues with this, I was not informed of this when I chose to accept they payout instead. Called customer service again to tell they the check was incorrect, I get bounced around to a couple different people, on half for half an hour to be told that because I accepted the payout after choosing install, they take 35% of the payout out of the check. ![]() Well I received the payout, but it was for only 226.17. I asked if I could accept the 326.17 payout instead which customer service said they would do and that I would receive a check in the mail. I called customer service (hard to get a person, it only wants you to talk to the machine) and they said there were delays and non one would be able to come install the microwave for at least 3 more weeks. That date came and went and no one came out and no communication from Cinch. I chose to have someone come install the microwave on 4/10/23. I received the option to have a new one installed or a payout. On 4/4/23 I filled a claim because my microwave was not working. I received a cinch home warranty with the purchase of a new home. SHAME ON THEM for taking my money each month and not being able to provide me with service when needed!! When I tried to cancel my policy what should've taken 5 minutes took over 30 minutes as Cinch customer service wouldn't stop trying to talk over me and convince me to stay with them - the time for convincing was when I was a customer - Cinch should've just done their job and done it well, to begin with, and I wouldn't have needed to cancel. I get the same story every single time.we have to forward your request to a third party who can try to contact someone to get an appointment.then that time never comes.SAVE YOUR MONEY! When I talk to local repair folks, they state they won't deal with Cinch anymore due to Cinch not paying on time, and the time spent trying to get Cinch to pay is a joke. ![]() I was a customer of this company for 12 years - well that's over! Since 2017 I have struggled with finding anyone in my area willing to deal with Cinch when it comes to fixing my heaters or air conditioners.
